What an awesome night at the Sovereign Center with special guest Mark Malizzi and Heaven’s Thunder for Faith and Family Night! I always love watching a great hockey game… especially when I’m on the ice and at the players’ benches photographing the whole thing!!! Tonight happened to be Slapshot’s birthday so twenty area mascots came for the celebration. This included a mascot game at half time which was quite entertaining, followed by a mascot dance. It was definitely a heated matchup between the Reading Royals and Elmira Jackals that ended with a great performance by Heaven’s Thunder. This band had their whole setup on two rollbacks which made for a great stage at center ice. Thank you Sovereign Center for another fantastic night!

What an awesome evening at the Sovereign Center with Thunder Outreach, area First Responders, Battle of the Badges teams, and the Reading Royals! The Battle of the Badges is a fun night of hockey between the Reading Fire and Police departments as well as an awesome tribute to First Responders who serve their communities and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
This hockey double-header kicked off with the a group of soldiers and military Humvees out on the ice followed by an exciting game between the Fire and Police departments. Special guest appearances included Mayor Vaughn D. Spencer, Sheriff Eric J. Weaknech, Deputy Chief Ron “Moose” Wentzel, and Mark Malizzi from Thunder Outreach. An intense matchup followed between the Reading Royals and the Greenville Road Warriors.
It was a great honor being part of this fantastic tribute to all those who serve our community… and on behalf of IMD, a truly heartfelt THANK YOU for all of your service!!

Believe it or not these are 3 generations of dogs, mom, son, and granddaughter… and are just so adorable… as is Meg, their owner, of course!! We had a gorgeous day for this shoot in Wellington, Florida, and I was not complaining to be sorting through the pictures in my convertible office!! It’s just so tough working on the road sometimes…
